Unblendify helps video creators design thumbnails that stand out among competing videos in YouTube search results. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: email address and password hash, or Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
• Content you provide: search topics you enter, images you upload, and thumbnails you generate or save.
• YouTube data (via YouTube API Services): when you connect your YouTube channel, we access, with your permission, your channel's video list, video titles, thumbnails, and, if you grant it, YouTube Analytics data such as thumbnail impressions and click-through rate for your own videos.
• Public YouTube data: publicly available search results, video titles, and thumbnails of other channels, retrieved through the YouTube Data API to build competitor comparisons.
• Usage data: standard server logs, IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and product improvement.

2. How we use information

• To display your video or draft thumbnail alongside real search results for a chosen topic.
• To generate and rank thumbnail variants tailored to that competitive context.
• To show you performance feedback for your own videos, if you connected YouTube Analytics.
• To improve our models using aggregated and de-identified data. We do not sell personal data.

3. YouTube API Services

Unblendify uses YouTube API Services. By using Unblendify you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

• Public YouTube data (search results, competitor thumbnails) is cached for no longer than 30 days and refreshed regularly, in accordance with YouTube API Services policies. Our normal refresh window is 48 hours.
• Authorized data from your own channel is stored only as long as your account is active and is deleted within 30 days of disconnecting your channel or deleting your account.
• You can revoke Unblendify's access to your Google account at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
• We do not share YouTube data with third parties except as required to operate the service (hosting providers listed below).

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

Unblendify's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data storage and processors

Data is stored on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) and Cloudflare, Inc. We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Account deletion removes all your stored data within 30 days.

8. Children

Unblendify is not intended for users under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will note the date of the latest revision above.
